Elite roofing system for distribution hub with Site Assembled rooflights

Brett Martin supplied Site Assembled rooflight systems as part of a Euroclad elite roofing system for a new-build 68,000 sq. ft. parcel delivery facility for DPD.

This purpose-built facility which is capable of handling 25,000 parcels per day, is located at Vertex Park near Bristol. It was constructed at a cost of £12m as part of a major infrastructure investment programme for DPD who have developed a strong network of delivery hubs across the country.

For Euroclad, responsible sourcing is a key driver in selecting products for their projects and their elite roofing system offers exceptional acoustic and thermal performance for the life of a building. Brett Martin were chosen as, in addition to their proven experience in daylighting wide-span buildings, they were able to meet the specification for a 1.3W/m2k U value by introducing Cleartherm, a specifically engineered intermediate insulating layer.
