Brett Martin brings a new dimension of daylight to eco-friendly distribution centre
Brett Martin daylighting products were selected for the supply of a new build 450,000 sq. ft multi-million pound warehouse. The unit which has achieved a BREEAM excellent rating and was pre let to furniture giant IKEA, was phase 1 of a 3 phase project on the site of a former power station.
Both roof and wall lighting were supplied using Brett Martin Site Assembled rooflights and Clickfix VF vertical panel glazing.
The Site Assembled rooflights were supplied via Euroclad an architectural metal buildings solution provider, to FK and are a built-up triple skin Euroclad Elite Specification.
The Clickfix vertical panel glazing system was selected then due to being able to meet the requirements of a bespoke 30% light blue polycarbonate colour.
The new distribution centre has a PV ready roof and will be operated by 100% renewable energy.
Phase 3 of the Littlebrook Power station site redevelopment – a further 300,000 sq. ft speculative build warehouse is also complete and ready to occupy.
