The sheets provide the high levels of natural daylight necessary for the healthy development of plants while the co-extruded UV protection layer also protects the plants, shrubs and people underneath from harmful UV rays. For this particular canopy project in which both sides of the sheet are exposed to the sun, the double sided UV protection option enhances the longevity of the sheet which will retain its properties for longer.
As this project required the product to be used at a height, Marlon ST was chosen. The multiwall sheet is a light weight product, while also being structurally strong, it is easy to handle and install.
This project was a runner up in the Horticulture and Agriculture category for the iAwards 2021.
