Join Our Team as a Mechanical Maintenance Manager

Key Duties:
- Daily Management: Oversee and guide a team of 20+ Mechanical Engineers towards achieving departmental KPIs.
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and motivate our mechanical team to excel in their roles.
- Equipment Optimization: Minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency by managing equipment upgrades and maintenance.
- Expansion Support: Contribute to factory expansion and new equipment installation projects.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safe working practices and regulatory requirements.
- Cost Management: Keep department costs within budget while ensuring optimum performance.
- Supplier Liaison: Technically engage with suppliers and equipment manufacturers for smooth operations.
- Spare Part Management: Efficiently manage spare parts sourcing and inventory.
Experience Required:
- Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering operational results.
- Team Building: Ability to build, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of engineers.
- Methodologies: Practical application of modern maintenance and manufacturing methodologies such as TPM, 5S, and Reliability-Cantered Maintenance.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Experience with techniques like 5 Whys and Six Sigma for root cause analysis.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management, health and safety standards, and budgetary controls.
- Supplier Management: Experience in managing a diverse range of suppliers.
- Training Experience: Delivering training and upskilling programs for engineers and apprentices.
- Financial Acumen: Competency in budget preparation and monitoring.
- IT Skills: Highly IT literate with proficiency in relevant software.
Qualifications:
- Ideally hold a third-level qualification in an Engineering Discipline (HND/Degree).
- Ideally possess IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications.
- Autocad/2D design experience is advantageous.
