Clickfix enlightens prestigious new international school
Brett Martin supplied Marlon Clickfix VF to create striking facades in the new-build Cheltenham Muscat School in Oman. This is founded by Cheltenham UK and is not only their first international sister school but also Oman’s first premium British school.
Clickfix was selected to achieve a blend of indoors and outdoors in this three storey multi-sports academy; which is situated in the senior campus of this state of the art school. The original design was intended to be glass, however, Graphite Architecture Consultants opted to place their trust in the abilities of Brett Martins’ technical team to complete design and implementation following other successful collaborations. The planning, design and fitting were supported remotely from both Mallusk and Coventry due to the pandemic which prevented entry to Oman.
The use of Marlon Clickfix allows natural light to fill the hall while providing UV protection. Aesthetically, the Marlon Clickfix VF Glazing bar frame contrasts the Marlon Clickfix opal polycarbonate panels creating a modern and contemporary look.
